Since 1919, the Hotel Sengscheider Hof has been family-owned.
Originally known as "Waldeslust", the hotel went through many changes during its long history, but never lost its unique character within its quiet, wooded surroundings.
Since 1991, Axel Toussaint has run the hotel, making him its fourth generation owner.
The former excursion restaurant was transformed into a comfortable hotel as well as an excellent dining destination.
Hotel Sengscheider Hof's motto has always been "Preserve the good, be open to the new.".

Our house tells many stories—and inextricably linked to them is the person who ran it for years with heart, passion, and tireless dedication.
Our sincere thanks go to Mr. Axel Toussaint, who not only managed the Hotel-Restaurant Sengscheider Hof together with Mr. Andreas Dänekamp, but also gave it soul, warmth, and personality.
For all the memories, encounters, and lasting values, we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With great respect and deep appreciation, we continue his life's work and look back with gratitude on the foundation he laid.

Hotel Sengscheider Hof
Our main building, newly constructed in 2000, houses the reception, restaurant, breakfast room, and wellness area with a solarium and massage room.
Since summer 2021, we have offered our guests ample space in two apartments in our new building, Elsa.
